Diana, a professional painter and qualified designer, came to live on the Isle of Skye in 1992.
She took three years out to study for a degree in Interior Design, taking the opportunity to develop her ideas in stained glass at the Edinburgh Stained Glass House, and painting, drawing and sculpture at The Edinburgh College of Art.
While she was there she was given the opportunity to combine these skills in the partial refurbishment of a house in Edinburgh New Town.
On returning to Skye Diana was asked to act as overall designer for the now famous, Three Chimneys Restaurant with Rooms.
Now Diana spends her time painting in the wonderful studio that she created as part of her home. This unique artists space interconnects with the house as a whole. Those visiting are encouraged to relax and take in the panoramic views from comfortable sofas or stroll through to the main Gallery space where the inspirational back drop of Diana’s environment takes shape on her canvases.
