On the last lap with number one of ‘The Sligachan Series’ Two more to follow.
After the huge amount of rain the burns are bubbling. The peat colours the water adding to the creamy foam. I was fascinated in the linking of the bubbles that collectively give the ‘ foaming ‘ effects.
The series of paintings I am working on includes some fast running burns, these images will act as a helpful reference.
Just completed, a vast area to be contained with all the challenges of perspective. Just the best time of year with the mellow autumn colours within early morning mists.
This for me is the masterpiece of light and dark.
